The Lansing City Council is considering a new way of conducting elections. It's called ranked-choice voting and it could be on the ballot in November.”  The article continues on to raise questions, such as people not filling out their entire ballot (“ballot exhaustion”, or skipping a runoff).  The cities that have already passed instant runoff/ranked-choice voting are waiting for enabling legislation from the state.
