Now's the time folks!

On Tuesday the house subcommittee on elections is slated to vote on SB 175 which would BAN RCV statewide. This would set our movement back years, so now is the time! 

We need as many Georgians as possible there to testify against SB 175. We're up against RCV ignorance among the committee and a short timeline, so we need to show up in droves to show that everyday Georgians care about this issue and will make our presence known!

Rough Itinerary:

12:30: Lunch will be catered and we'll meet somewhere in the capitol to go over the game plan and eat before heading out to the floor.

1:30-(2-5 Committee Hearing): We'll head out "to the ropes" where we'll attempt to meet with members of the committee ahead of the vote. As soon as the house is done with the floor session, the committee hearing will begin. This means that there's a lot of variability to the exact start time, so within this period we'll be practicing/working on our statements together and speaking with representatives

Start of the committee hearing: We'll enter the committee room together, and sign the sign in sheet. Once the bill hearing has started, they will begin calling up each of us one by one to deliver a short ~60 second statement of opposition to SB 175.
